The Ripple Effect – The next round of TEDxHHL is open

TEDxHHL is a student initiative founded in 2014, with the objective to bring innovation and inspiration to Leipzig and its surroundings. TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” We aim to establish ties between individuals with different backgrounds to foster creativity and innovation.

This year’s overarching theme is “The Ripple Effect”. Accordingly, the event aims to demonstrate how small actions have a big impact and thereby contribute to major changes. Inspiring speakers such as Rolf Schrömgens, HHL alumni and co-founder of trivago, and Helga Hengge, first German woman to climb Mount Everest and the Seven Summits, will join us and share their unique experiences.

The event will take place Thursday, October 19th, 2017, in Werk II, Leipzig – Connewitz. Anyone that wants to keep their eyes wide open for new ideas is welcome to join. Attendees can expect fascinating and interesting talks from the speakers. Come and be inspired by short and snappy TEDx-Talks and discuss your insights with other participants.

TEDxHHL will be glad to provide an afternoon filled with incredible experiences, about topics that will support your strong vision of the world, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. The attendees will have the opportunity to meet new and interesting people, providing a fresh view of the world we are living in.
