Since summer, our full-time MSc students of the class 2017 spend their term abroad all over the world. Niklas Johaentges (MSc14) went to Canada at the University of Victoria which is one of the most favorite partner universities of HHL and recognized for the excellent entrepreneurship and innovation education. Niklas states: “The decision to choose the University of Victoria (UVic) as a destination for my term abroad was not a difficult one. Besides the lectures of well-reputed professors, UVic offers a great international business program with a high flexibility to select courses from a wide range. Even prior to my arrival in Canada, the support and assistance of the International Student Services at UVic was amazing. The numerous sports facilities on campus are an integral part of the student’s life and another nice way to get in touch with both local and exchange students.
In addition to the academic rigor, the city of Victoria itself offers a very high quality of life. Located on Vancouver Island, breathtaking nature invites to explore the unique flora and fauna. I truly can recommend this University and hope that many more students are able to make the same positive experiences at UVic.”
