Studying in Germany – and Afterwards? – Part III

Written by Shivanghi Garg

“I came to Leipzig, Germany in the year 2014. Born and brought-up in New Delhi, India, I finished my engineering school and worked as an Engineer with Ericsson for appx. 3 years. Currently, one year after I have finished my MBA program at HHL. I am employed with Continental AG, in the Business Development & Marketing for the ASEAN & Indian market.

MBA at HHL truly caters to the strong links between practical experience and theoretical knowledge, while providing an extensive platform & plethora of opportunities to evolve and recognize one´s own interests and potential. One of the strong pillars being the incredibly knowledgeable and reachable professors at the program helped me in ways which are immeasurable. The possibility to pursue a professional career in Germany is propelled at HHL with the extensive Alumni Network and with a carefully designed curriculum through Internship and Master Thesis. To highlight the incredible networking opportunities at HHL and to share my personal experience, I discussed my profile over a Football match during the European Ivy League@HHL and was invited for the Interview. I am still with the same organization! Personally, I have not only benefitted in terms of knowledge and learning from MBA@HHL, but also made some amazing friendships, to last forever.”
