Stand-up Paddling at the Lake Kulkwitz

On Tuesday, June 20th, we went to the “Kulkwitzer See” with 25 full-time and exchange students to take part in a stand-up paddling course on the lake. After a short introduction, we took off on the boards and paddled all across the lake and half around it. The weather was very good, although the strong wind made the paddling definitely more of a challenge… But it was fun, and after initially falling into the water a couple of times, we all managed well to keep ourselves on the
boards, and really enjoyed the beautiful view. After 2 hours, the course was over and some students even finished the day by doing some yoga on the beach, while others grabbed a cold drink and stayed for a little longer.

Anika Baumhauer from M17 (full-time MBA student) said:

“I really liked the possibility to get together with different students in a context totally different from school. A sportive activity, especially outside, is always a great opportunity to create a different and good atmosphere.”
