On October 05, the Leipzig Impact Finance Day on the topic Impact Investing is taking place for the first time
With the Leipzig Impact Finance Day, the cooperation between HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management, SpinLab – The HHL Accelerator and Social Impact Lab Leipzig wants to put an emphasis on Impact Investing. Founders, who not only pursue financial goals, but take the environment and the society into account, are to be supported through this new format.
Especially those social startups in the area of Leipzig, but also from all other parts of Germany as well as beyond, that want to change the status quo and make a positive contribution in the fields education, ecology, societal integration, civic engagement and sustainable consumption as well as sustainable nutrition, are called for. The Impact Award, that is decorated with €1,000 prize money, will be awarded to the most promising startup during the Pitch Contest. Applications can be handed in by simply sending the Pitch Deck via Mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by filling out the form on www.f6s.com/impactaward2017.
Apart from the Picht Contest, the 1-day-conference is filled with keynotes, panels and workshops. Numerous investors from the social entrepreneurship scene, like Bernd Klosterkemper (Ananda Social Venture Fund) and Franziska Schaefermeyer (Tengelmann Ventures), as well as great founders, like Dirk Müller Remus (Auticon and Diversicon), Nina Cejnar (Golden Deer) and Marcell Heinrich (Hero Society), will gather at the Alter Verladebahnhof in Plagwitz.
