Once again, HHL travelled to Shanghai to meet with our alumni, future students and potential candidates of our MBA and MiM programs. Last Wednesday, our MBA alumnus Frederik Bösch kindly hosted a special HHL reunion at the premises of Rehau, where he is responsible for Building Technology in North East Asia. As host, he gave an introduction into Rehau, touching interesting points of “Heating Business in China: B2C approach in a traditional B2B industry”.
Afterwards, Prof. Schwetzler, HHL’s MBA Director and Chairholder of the Chair for Financial Management, gave a guest lecture on the topic “Unicorns and Muppets – Valuing Innovative Business Models“. The evening rounded off by an informal get together, where our alumni and future students were able to network and exchange impressions.
And since a trip to Shanghai would not be complete without a visit to one of our partner universities, HHL was honored to hold a guest lecture at the School of Business and Management of the Shanghai International Studies Univesity (SISU). Thanks to our MiM alumnus and currently Associate Professor at SISU, Mr. Xinli Chen, Prof. Schwetzler had the opportunity to introduce the topic of “Private Equity” to undergraduate students interested in HHL’s Master in Management Program and to answer interesting questions.
We thank our hosts for their hospitality and we look forward to meeting everyone again soon!
