Current students and alumni of German’s most traditional business school came together during the international networking event “Talent meets Bertelsmann”. From June 20 until 22, 2016 students and young professionals were invited by the international media house for an exciting event in Berlin. In addition, about 60 representatives of Bertelsmann participated. Together with experienced company representatives participants took part in workshops on future trends in the business areas media, services, and education.
In this context Wiebke Stranz, PhD student and research associate at the Deutsche Bank Stiftungsfond Chair of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, met the HHL alumni Thorsten Daniel (Business Manager to the CEO Arvato SCM Solutions), Niklas Darijtschuk (Senior Vice President Corporate Controlling and Strategy, Bertelsmann), Christoph von Schwerin (Senior Director Relias International Operations, Relias Learning, Bertelsmann Education Group), and Pam Taylor (Associate, Corporate Management Development, Bertelsmann).
Says Ms. Stranz about the highlights of the event, “The ideas and solutions were presented in front of members of the Bertelsmann Executive Board. At the after-show party, which included a live-concert with Graham Candy, participants had the opportunity to build up an international network. Furthermore, the event was a great opportunity to also get in contact with HHL alumni with very diverse career paths within Bertelsmann.”
