Food and mobility are focal topics in 2018
Tina Hoffmann and Niclas Lindemann, the two primary organizers of Accelerate@HHL, and their team have now opened ticket sales and presented the conference topics. “Starting up the Future” means that not only start-ups should put tried-and-true recipes for success to the test, but also established and traditional companies should pursue new paths and present themselves. Niclas Lindemann comments, “Through our Accelerate@HHL Conference, we bring together young entrepreneurs and experienced managers and discuss future trends as well as the latest developments in various industries.”
Tina Hoffmann underlines how topical the issues which will be discussed in the panels of this year’s Accelerate@HHL Conference are, stating, “Big data, autonomous driving, IoT are no longer just buzzwords but have long moved into everyday life and changed our needs — food and mobility simply represent selected examples. This development is unsettling traditional companies while also leading to entirely new business models. In the two panels, we would like to shed light on these developments together with those closely affected by them — the founders and executives working at these companies.”
Enthusiasm and inspiration
Christoph Behn, corporate partner of the Accelerate initiative, founder and CEO of kartenmacherei, appreciates the entrepreneurial spirit of the student conference just like Professor Stephan Stubner, Dean of HHL. Christoph Behn explains, “Being a passionate entrepreneur myself, I can feel the enthusiasm of the young students who come together at the Accelerate@HHL Conference. I also studied at HHL and am happy to be able to support the event.” Stephan Stubner comments, “The organizers burn for the subjects they chose, and this is reflected by the highly topical program as well as the inspirational guests and speakers at the Accelerate@HHL Conference.”
