HHL Student Will Accompany Adecco Boss in His Day-to-Day Routine
Alexander Müller has what it takes to be a global CEO. The 26-year old student in the Master of Management Program at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management proved that already in the application process for the “CEO for 1 Month” program of the Adecco Group. The student, who was born in Nuremberg, was selected from approximately 100,000 aspiring candidates worldwide and about 2,200 in Germany. As of June 12, Alexander Müller will accompany Franz-Joseph Schürmann, the CEO of the Adecco Group for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, on a daily basis. In the context of the so-called job shadowing, he will be present at all appointments of the Adecco Group CEO, and therefore gain valuable experience.
Alexander Müller says, “Participating in the ‘CEO for 1 Month’ program of the Adecco Group offers me the unique opportunity to learn directly from a CEO and develop my skills.”
Together with Alexander Müller, 48 finalists worldwide will now accompany the respective CEOs of the regional subsidiaries of the Adecco Group. In Germany, there is an additional two spots in the “CEO for 1 Month” program with the subsidiaries DIS AG and Tuja/Adecco Personaldienstleistungen, which are filled by students from the University St. Gallen and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Amongst the CEOs for a month are students from well-renowned universities such as Stanford and Cambridge.

In context of the “CEO for 1 month” program everybody can still vote for Alexander Müller until July 25. Every voter also has the chance to win EUR 2,000 for a further education program of their choice.
