Alumni Homecoming 2017

The annual Homecoming took place on the second weekend of September. More than 100 alumni returned to their alma mater in Leipzig, enjoying a great reunion with friends in the HHL community.

While on Friday, the event started with a Cocktail Reception at Barfusz, on Saturday fruitful discussions came up during a panel discussion. In the Spinlab, Prof. Dr. Remigiusz Smolinski, Erik Pfannmöller (K23 and Founder of fredknows.IT) and Bastian Lechner (K21 and founder of Catana Capital) discussed with the alumni on chances and challenges of artificial intelligence.

Afterwards, everybody was invited to join a guided tour through the former Leipziger Cotton Mill which is today the home and working place of around 100 artists, including famous Neo Rauch.

The day was rounded off with a BBQ at Club International providing HHL alumni and staff with a wonderful occasion to further exchange experiences and to connect. After the Brunch on Sunday, everybody had to sadly say goodbye.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon again! Latest, at the Homecoming 2018! Keep in touch!
